Mary Hanson Scott is a musician and composer based in Minneapolis. Her work relies heavily upon improvisation and connecting with live spaces to build ethereal, cloud-like processed saxophone pieces.  She has performed at festivals such as Drone Not Drones in Minneapolis, International Noise Conference in Miami, and Big Ears Festival in Knoxville (with Green Ribbon). Since 2024, she has created original music for multiple short films that have screened internationally. Esoteric Lounge Music Now, a collaborative album with longtime friend Ruth Mascelli, was released in 2025 on UK-based label Disciples.
